Roadmap

Customers define the roadmap

Our approach to product development is to give customers a voice. You submit a suggestion, everyone upvotes what matters to them, and we work on features in order of votes. No hidden priorities, no roadmap written in a room you weren’t in.

How it works

  1. 01

    Submit a suggestion

Anyone running WP Chest can post what they need and describe the problem behind it.

  2. 02

    Upvote what matters

Every suggestion is public and every vote counts the same, whether it comes from a freelancer or an agency with a hundred sites.

  3. 03

    We build in vote order

The top of the board is what we are working on next. When something ships, it moves to Shipped and the next item comes up.

  • WP Chest Security

The eighth plugin: XML-RPC control, a renamed login URL, login lockout with an audit log, security headers and a hardening scorecard.

    In progress
  • Gutenberg blocks for forms and feeds

Native blocks alongside the shortcodes, with a live preview in the editor.

    Next up
  • Multisite and network-wide settings

Configure once at the network level and inherit per site, for agency fleets.

    Next up
  • Object cache alongside page cache

Redis or Memcached for logged-in traffic, which page caching deliberately never touches.

    Under consideration
  • More CRM and email connectors

HubSpot, Mailchimp and Zoho on the same connector interface as the existing three.

    Under consideration
  • Schema.org output in SEO

Article, Product and Organization JSON-LD, kept as small as the rest of the plugin.

    Under consideration
  • Geo-auto consent model

Detect the visitor’s region and apply opt-in or opt-out accordingly, defaulting to the safer model.

    Shipped

Voting requires a free account. Seven of the eight plugins are shipping today.
